Monique is a psychologist and family therapist working in private practice and a trusted name in the disability sector.

About

Monique is a registered Psychologist, trained family therapist, a member of the Australian Psychological Society and a registered Medicare provider. She started working in the disability sector in 1984 and later graduated from Adelaide University in 1991.

Having worked for both government and non-government agencies for several years (Intellectual Disability Services Council, TAFE, Relationships Australia, Alzheimer’s Australia), she started in private practice in 1993. In addition to running and working in her own practice for the last 28 years, Monique has also maintained a number of long term engagements over many years, including Independent Chairperson of the Management Assessment Panel (a service arm of the Exceptional Needs Unit in the Department of Communities and Social Inclusion) for 12 years and teaching Positive Behaviour Support in the Department of Disability and Social Inclusion at Flinders University for 16 years. She works with a broad cross-section of people and has a special interest in working with people with a disability and their mental health issues.
